Volunteers are the heart of the APLC outreach program, making crucial contributions to our mission to spread awareness about hepatitis B and liver cancer. Volunteers work alongside our physicians and nurses at hepatitis B screening clinics, helping to educate the community on how to prevent and treat liver cancer caused by hepatitis B infection.
Benefits of Volunteering
- Learn about hepatitis B
- Understand the medical needs in Asian communities
- Opportunity to serve the underprivileged populations
- Involvement in medical research projects
- Involvement in educational events
